Frequently Asked Questions
Do you lay Artificial Grass?
No, we always recommend real grass.Real lawns help purify the air, create a wonderful space for wildlife to inhabit, and are much better for the environment as you are not contributing to plastic production associated with fake grass.
What areas do you cover?
The areas that we cover are as follows:
Dn15, Dn16, Dn17, Dn20, Dn21
( we will visit outside these areas for larger lawns)
Are you Insured?
Yes we have public liability insurance, and we are fully licensed to use all our products, tools, and machinery.
Do you lay new Turf?
We do not lay or supply turf, but we do offer a lawn renovation programme. This consists of scarification, over-seeding, and top-dressing, and can give you the appearance of a new lawn at a fraction of the price.
Do I have to be at home when you visit?
You do not have to be at home when we call. We will arrange a date with you in advance. We ask that you leave any gates or access points unlocked for us to gain entry and ensure that all pets are indoors.
Do you tidy up afterwards and take the waste away?
We always tidy up after ourselves and take away any waste that does not fit into your brown bin.
Do I need to water my lawn after a treatment?
Our products generally do not need to be watered in unless there has been a prolonged dry spell.
Can I cut my grass before / after a lawn treatment?
It is recommended that the grass is cut before visiting for treatment. We advice not to cut the grass for a minimum of a week after applying treatment.
Can I just buy the products and do the treatment myself?
We use superior professional grade products that are not available to purchase from the DIY stores or gardens centres. Our staff are fully trained, licensed and insured to apply these products. And this often works out cheaper than doing it yourself.
Will you still treat my lawn during extreme weather conditions?
We will do our best to work around most conditions, but there will be some occasions when the weather may prevent us from treating your lawn for example when it is too hot and dry, or if it is too wet. Should we be delayed due to the weather, then we will be in touch as soon as the conditions are right.
Is the lawn treatment safe for my children and pets once applied?
It is safe for children and pets to use the lawn following treatments. But we advise that any pets that may try to eat the grass are kept off it for approximately 10-14 days.
How much does it cost?
Costs vary. As a small independent business, we can offer truly bespoke packages to suit your lawn care needs, and we can work within a budget.
